On January 29, 2025, the COAERS Board of Trustees certified the results of the 2024 special election for Active Member Place 6, which concluded on January 15, 2025.

The Nominating and Election Committees met on January 17th to review the election ballots. With 320 votes, Ben Ellinor was elected to the Active Member Place 7 position.
